Day Of Hermes!

dirtbugdiedToday is The day of Hermes, I'm vailing this day in his honor. I'm gonna vail tomorrow as well because tomorrow is his birthday. wednesday is the day of Hermes for a few reasons. Wednesday is the 4th day of the week and the number 4 is his sacred number making the 4th of the month his birthday!
today is September 3rd (wednesday), day of Hermes. Tomorrow is september 4th(thursday), his birthday! it is also the day of Zeus.
Today and tomorrow I will vail, pray, (try to) make an offering, and do a devotional act in his name.
I cannot express how grateful I am to have found myself drawn to this religion and how happy I am to be part of it. This is something I'm genuinely happy about, I genuinely find comfort in. It brings me joy to worship my gods, to have that relationship with them.
I don't think I've ever been this happy in a religion.
